Find Out How Effectively Your Website is Serving Your Audience and Google

A website analysis and review involves looking at a lot of different factors. I’ll conduct a ‘deep dive’ by looking at your site’s:

  • User Friendliness – How easy is it for new visitors to navigate your website?

 

  • Layout – Are the colors pleasing? Do the graphic elements make sense for what you want your site to say to visitors?

 

  • Consistency – Does your site have the same overall look at feel from page to page?

 

  • Engagement – Does your site urge visitors to get involved? Are there things for visitors to do other than just scrolling and reading?

 

  • Readability – Does your website’s text color work well with the background color? Do the fonts help readability, or do they distract the eye?

 

  • SEO – How is your site with search engine optimization? Good SEO looks at two things: Can Google find you? Will people want to visit your site when they find you?

 

  • Broken Links – Does your site have links and hyperlinks that go to non-existent pages?

 

  • Competition – How does your site stack up against other websites in the same field?

 

  • At-Risk Factors – Who is connected to your site? If your website has been around a while, you may already have backlinks from sites that may be disreputable.

 

  • And MUCH more
